Signal to client in some way there is deposit on file to be used in My Cart
"I added everything to my cart to start the checkout process and the $20 deposit we made [on-site] is not applying?"
I'm getting emails like this a lot. People are prompted to apply the deposit on file when they click next, but instead of doing that they're emailing, which is much harder. This I think illustrates that the end user really expects for a deposit to be showing in My Cart itself.

Add more detail (What message, what status(es), etc) to the Communication Job Manager.
The Communication Job Manager (Utilities>Communication Job Manager) is very basic currently. When I schedule Communications in the Wizard, they will show up there, but with very little identifying information - meaning if something needs to be corrected, I have to delete all of the outgoing communications in order to reset the one I needed to fix. Recommending putting more identifying information (Client Status/Group, Date/Time Scheduled, Which Message Sent, etc.)

Show Triggers set to run automatically in Control Center (Just Gray them Out Since Handled by S+)

This makes sense, but I think there are two things to consider not addressed:
1) Bill may not want to wait for Control Center to immediately process a Trigger set to Auto. I realize he could set the trigger to manual temporarily, fire it, and then set back to Auto; however, that is a hassle, and I think the bigger concern is that really "Run Job" should be an option in Control…

Create Session Sub-Types

Make it possible to show only unread messages in the Messages Hub
When I am checking messages, I generally just want to see anything new that has come in that I haven't attended to already. If y'all implement the Messages on Home, this will help the messages list on Home widget to be shorter and more immediately relevant.

Integrate bit.ly
I'm getting billed for two SMS messages every time I send a Session login link, and that is just for the link itself. It needs to be native so that variables in form letters will work: I don't want to have to shorten links for all the 100s of kids at a school, etc.

Client Import Utility Needs Secondary Cell just Like Secondary Email
Families are using a single email but putting in mom's and dad's unique cell phone numbers for T&I shoots.

Update complete date sort function in Communication to use padded month and date values for correct sort
I think this is actually a bug: when you are in a Client record and click Communication and then sort by Complete Date, a date like 9/15/2024 shows as later than 9/2/2024. Padding month and dates with leading 0 will fix.

Make some way to easily report Pending Web Orders for Sessions with actual order invoices to eliminate false shopping carts
I just answered a client email, and she had a large pending web order followed by one from same day with maybe an increment of 1 or 2 for the order / invoice number. That client almost certainly didn't have a shopping cart she still wants to hold onto in my experience. IDK if those are done by the device or what, but I want to find a way to get rid of ~false positive ~abandoned carts from clients who have placed an order dated later than the earlier Pending Web Order that has yet to be ordered. Add a Custom URL that takes a client to his or her shopping cart, not just invoice payment
As far as I can tell, there's no good way to direct a client straight to an abandoned shopping cart. I want one and a way to trigger the email that contains it automatically in order to automate abandoned shopping cart recovery.

Make it so that sending an SMS doesn't close the SMS Text window
I am frequently sending a series of texts with a client or even just dialoging and would like the window to remain open instead of closing after I send a new SMS so that I don't have to click on the text thread just to open the client communication I was just working on. I'd prefer just to close the box. IDK if it updates in real time if a new text comes in, but I do want that or at least a reload button so that I can text in real time like a conversation.

Make horizontal scroll bar scroll to selected image upon select from contact sheet view
If you are in a Session and click an image from the contact sheet view, it brings up that specific image in the filmstrip view to make it a large preview. However, the scroll bar at bottom of the page does not scroll to the position of that image in the gallery, which I believe it should for ease of navigation. You can hack it by pressing left and right arrows: do either way, and the scrollbar jumps to position as expected. Press the arrows enough, though, and you'll notice a bug that I'm reporting now.

Dashboard report for sales by Session Type with ~Live Option
Since I've been recommended to use unique Session Types for each discrete event photography shoot I do, I would like to have a dashboard report to monitor those sales, especially in real time. Add error notification for Session Import Utility for records with Session Numbers Containing Special Characters

I can't remember if an issue I had recently (not the one I mention in post above) had to do with filenames or session numbers and special characters, but my guess is that Session Numbers with special characters like -"( and so on that might be found in a name will likely cause issues with Stratus.

Add ability to Omit or Replace Special Characters in Addition to Rename for Image Ingest and Bulk Image Importer
Since garbage in can in some cases mean not even garbage out (see support ticket [#120591]) and even those who should therefore know better (I can't think of anybody this applies to sitting a chair right now in my office, but I'll update post if I do) will ingest files with special characters like spaces, etc. that can cause online delivery to fail, I suggest the ability to replace special characters with underscores or to just delete them and shorten filenames be added to existing option to rename files on ingest for both normal file ingest (e.g. at Session, etc.)…

Filter favorites in filmstrip view
I actually think this is a bug: if you click on an image in IBY and bring up the filmstrip view (single large image and a stripe of images at bottom), when you click the heart filter at top nothing happens when it should be filtering like happens when click same button in the contact sheet (initial thumbs overview) view. You can also filter favorites by a checkbox once add to my cart, making filmstrip the only non-filterable view of the three for now. Can't see good reason it should be left out. Add image counts, time elapsed, projected time left, etc. into Bulk Image Importer
I need image counts to make sure I'm all in with Imorter. I also would like to know about when a job will finish because of how many images I import at a time... could easily be 30,000.

Make Bulk Image Importer Status Targetable
I can think of a million use cases for making the Session Status targetable (not just blind advance to next) with Bulk Image Import. The most important, though, I think is that it would facilitate multiple uploads to a single session over (think daily uploads to a multi-day event) because you could just set the target status on import to something like "Upload these Pictures to IBY Sesame," which can kick off an upload Control Center job that will result in a status something like "Pictures have been uploaded" that will probably trigger notification emails / SMS. Make Bulk Image Uploader Run as a Watch Folder
This is obviously about more automation, and for volume users it will be particularly useful just on a local computer and/or network.
One logical extension of this function, though, may not be immediately obvious yet very helpful: it would actually lay the groundwork for FTP import (something my prior cart and other industry competitors like GotPhoto advertise as a feature).
