find a way to let the customer apply their deposit to their order
wen our customers order, thy have a deposit on file which is supposed to be applied to their order. we had to actually account for this by making it the promo code amount and then still have to manually create an invoice to take care of the tax

we have a minimum purchase requirement, but I have no way to put that in pace and the system allows any size order

Can we please be able to set a default font for emails?
It's time consuming changing Ariel 10 to Cabili 11 every single email, and sometimes it doesnt get done and makes our emails look unprofessional.
A default option in settings would fix this.

Payment amount Triger :-) once a certain amount has been paid off an invoice we can arrange an early release of photos for our clients :-)

once a invoice has had a certain $ amount paid off it we will be notified and in a task and then can arrange an early release of some photos to our client.

Stratus Email - Linking Options Drop Down
At present, we use the high school senior as the client, but use their parent's email address, as that who we are dealing with. This creates a lot of problems, especially when the parent has multiple children you have photographed (which is what is supposed to happen if you run your studio properly).
The dilemma is that when an incoming email is received from the parent about the child we are currently working with, there is no guarantee that their email will be linked to that particular student.
A simple (while maybe not the most elegant) fix for this would…

Apply discounts/credits to invoice bottom line in order to calculate employee commissions
Currently, employee commissions are calculated on a line item or product line as a dollar amount (percentage is not working).
If a product has a price of $2000 and a fixed commission of $100, if you offer a $1000 discount on that item, the commission is still $100.
There is a need to apply a percentage of the invoice bottom line to the person receiving commission that reflects a percentage of this bottom line and not each line item.

Allow for part time staff members in budgets.
When setting budgets, currently the monthly amount is divided by the opening days for the business which assumes that all staff work 5 days per week, for those that work 3 days the budget is therefore incorrect. An allowance needs to be made so that the monthly budget could be divided by the number of days per month a certain staff member works. This would provide a correct reflection of their budget on those days that they work.

Integrate with Facebook's New Leads Tool
Facebook has introduced a way to capture new leads from Facebook. Leads can currently be downloaded as a .CSV file from your Facebook page and then imported into the Spectra/myStratus. However Facebook also has the opportunity to integrate directly with CRM softwares so the leads can be imported directly. This would be a huge time saver! So many leads come from social media.

when custom fields are renamed to a usable name, can the usaable name show in the advanced search field.
when you go to Advanced Search to find a field created from a custom field, can the custom name show. If you create a field at the moment you need to remember the origional name (ie Custom Name 1) to search for that data. It would be more sensible if the field you searched for displayed as the usable name (ie File Number).

Have user (and assistant) options for Appointment Types. E.g. with Sales we have a Salesperson plus an Assistant.
We would like to save time having to go through the "Advanced Calendar Options" by simply having certain appointment types default to a user and a 2nd user.

Automated Sitting #
When Spectra assigns the automated sitting #, there is NOT an option to have the sitting # 1st and the Last Name directly after it? We organize our files by the sitting # NOT the Last Name. Can you add this option?

Option to show Session Notes in the Client Record
In the notes section of the client record you can choose to show client or status notes. It would be nice to have the option to see session notes as well, instead of having to open each session to find the notes for it.

Triggers need more Exclusions
It would be nice to be able to give a date range on triggers. Our only choice is "Do not trigger the activity if the triggered date has already passed."

Have an "add hyperlink" option when sending a blank email or editing a form letter from the client communication screen.
While I have templates set up with all our most commonly used links, sometimes I might want to add an extra line of info in an email to a client about a specific example we had discussed & link them to it, or similar.
In order to do this at the moment I have to edit the whole template in design tools, send it to the client, & then re-edit back to the original template. Which is very frustrating.3 votes
