Lead Source to be attached to and retained with session and appointment
For returning clients, currently our protocol is to type previous lead source in Client Notes screen and overwrite with new source on Client main page, however this is not always done and we either lose previous lead source or end up with a line of multiple sources on the client page.
Always helpful to know how we first came into contact with clients and subsequent contacts.

I'd advise that the client Lead Source field be used to indicate how they first heard about you. To best track what brings existing customers back for more sessions, you make want to use the Session Promotions feature.

I have a work around where I have client groups for each lead source as well. When I get a return client I overwrite their lead source to the most current one. They remain in the original group & I add them to the new group as well. That way I am tracking the multiple lead sources using groups.
