I want to remove the ability of my customers to crop digital images in particular. Some people will crop if there's an option to do so, but then they don't get the full file and end up contacting my team to remake it unnecessarily. They should just crop from the full size image once they have it.

Also, in some cases I prefer to crop images on the back end because I know how to shoot tight and crop tighter. Conversely, for some products, I want to force cropping so that the client will preview their crop and won't be surprised if an visually important element has been compromised by the crop.
