Sister with Acuity for scheduling sessions...
Acuity is a great scheduling software that does work with many companies like myphotoapp and others to help mainstream their sessions, making it easier to book appointment and click in add ons to the session. Like a clothing change or additional people to a session.
It also send automatic reminders that are much easier and faster to set up then those of stratus. I recently switched to stratus after having come from acuity and feel that stratus could be so incredible should it pair with them or at the least learn from their success.

Thanks for the suggestion Charleen! We can definitely look at Acuity for ideas to make our online booking better! Other than the changing the details of a session, are there other features you would want to see added? Can you send us some screenshots of some features you particularly like?
We do look into integrating with other products. But we prefer to do it ourselves. We have no control over the other company and what changes they make. One change can break our integration, and we take the blame for it. Some companies just stop the integration without warning, then we are stuck. That’s why we prefer to do it ourselves.

Charleen - you are right on the money with your comments. Acuity is an incredibly intuitive online appointment system. We have stuck with Acuity after trying the Stratus online appointment system. It is a lot of extra work, but the interface is so much better for the client that we feel it is worth it. I hope that someday StudioPlus will realize that integrating with products that complement theirs is a GOOD thing.
