Make Bulk Image Uploader Run as a Watch Folder
This is obviously about more automation, and for volume users it will be particularly useful just on a local computer and/or network.
One logical extension of this function, though, may not be immediately obvious yet very helpful: it would actually lay the groundwork for FTP import (something my prior cart and other industry competitors like GotPhoto advertise as a feature). I use FTP, a tried-and-true workflow that people like to knock but still use extensively, straight out of Photo Mechanic - FTP is in my experience common among existing photo applications. If I could set Stratus up to bulk import as a watch folder, I could daisy chain it with my FTP Server so that I could also have an FTP Uploader: I'd just set the FTP user folder as the Bulk Import watch folder. Upload from PM -> FTP Server Inbox / Stratus Bulk Import Watch Folder -> Stratus.
I realize I'm not an ordinary user in being able to set this up, but most people who need FTP in their workflow probably aren't either and can at least get something off the shelf they could use. Nikon offers an FTP service you can pay for by way of example. But a simple how-to article maybe even just linked to showing how to make a simple FTP Server at home using native IIS is probably a lot easier than trying to build some sort of FTP inbox to Stratus Drive (and the associated double traffic needed to Sync those files down, get ingested locally, only to be reuploaded to Stratus Drive).
